There is very much confusion around the subject of Violence and Non-Violence. Any and every Afrikan that doesn't take the Non-Violent approach is label as being "Violent." This is nothing more than propaganda spread by europeans, and regurgitated by negroes. The truth of the matter is there has not been any organization of Afrikan people that have practiced or preached Violence against non-Afrikans in a long time. There have been a few individuals who have called for a straight out attack on the oppressors of Afrikan people, but there have never been any organizations arming or training Afrikans for an assault on their enemies, since the Enslavement/Colonization Era.
The philosophies of the UNIA-ACL, The Nation of Islam, the Black Panther Party, and other "Black Militant" Organizations are often regarded as "Violent", but this is very inaccurate. These groups were in fact Anti-Violent. Being Anti-Violent is thought to be the same as being Non-Violent, but that is not the case.
The Non-Violent Philosophy is the conscious act of refusing to use any type of physical force against another person. This not only applies to retaliation against oppression and discrimination, but also to self defense. A Non-Violent person will not defend their self if they attack by others. A Non-Violent woman does not try to defend herself against a man that is attempting to rape her. A Non-Violent Man does not try to physically stop a man from molesting his children right in front of him.
The Anti-Violent Philosophy on the other hand, is being against the use of violence in general, but seeing it necessary to use violence in a situation of Self-Defense. An Anti-Violent person will not attack their enemy, but if their enemy attacks them, they will defend their self against their enemy. An Anti-Violent woman will physical defend herself against a rapist. An Anti-Violent man will physically defend his child from a child molester.
The Non-Violent Philosophy is an extension of enslavement and colonization. Only an enslaved or colonized person will accept violence done against them and their loved ones and not retaliate. Non-Violence is usually associated with christianity, hinduism, or buddhism, none of which are Afrikan Religions. Non-Violence is taught to Afrikans as a way to control them. Both the european christians and the asian buddhists and hindus have created societies in which the Afrikan is ALWAYS at the bottom.
The is no concept of Non-Violence in Afrikan Religion, and there has never been a time in history were Afrikans practice Authentic Afrikan Ancestral Religion were subservient to another people. The beginning of the end of each and every Afrikan society was marked with the acceptance of both foreign deities and foreign people. Most of the Afrikan Religion being practiced today is watered down from the influences of christianity and islam. The only way to truly be free from enslavement, colonization, and oppression is to Revert to Authentic Afrikan Culture as a whole, starting with Ancestral Religion.
